Lotus Concept Theory 1 Test Drive
Let’s face it, most concept vehicles are just a shell, but the Lotus Concept Theory 1 is an electric supercar that you can actually drive. This two-door EV is all-wheel-drive and has an electric powertrain that generates 987 hp.

Inspired by the Lotus Espirit, the Concept Theory 1 sports a wedge design with thin headlights, sleek taillights, a tall spoiler, and a massive diffuser. We can’t forget about the doors either, which can be opened by swinging then backwards and then up. Think of them as the opposite of Koenigsegg’s dihedral synchro-helix doors. Step inside, and you’ll find on-demand buttons that are formed when required using reactive textile technology and vanishes during normal driving.
