A Samsung drone sounds like something you’d use for capturing 4K aerial footage, but this one was designed for public safety. How so? Say you’re walking home at night and want to see what may be lurking in all the dark alleyways. Simply open up a special app and view real-time video as the drone shows you exactly that.
If the drone finds something possibly dangerous, it automatically notifies the police. As you can see, there is already a prototype of the Samsung Public Safety Drone as part of the Samsung Design Membership program. The latter allows aspiring designers to practice their skills with notable projects being showcased by Samsung themselves, like this one.
