The problem with most camper vans is that they really don’t offer a comfortable sleeping space for those who are a bit taller than average, but StarVan aims to change that with their patented Sleeping Pod.
This motorized section can extend nearly 4-feet, creating a raised 55 x 82.6-inch sleeping area big enough for a large bed. Need more storage space? Look beneath the sleeping pod for an additional 932 liters of storage space. Elsewhere on the inside, there’s lots of 8-mm-thick plywood with synthetic felt lining that forms the interior walls. As for power, there’s a 160-Wp solar panel system that feeds a 100-Ah LiFePO4 battery pack. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
