Teen Stolen Lamborghini Urus Australia
Early one morning in Melbourne, a group allegedly broke into a home on The Esplenade in Maribyrnong and stole a black 2020 Lamborghini Urus. The car was left parked overnight as part of the owner’s property, and the next thing they knew, at 1:15 a.m., it was gone, as the owners had not even noticed it was missing, but it took hours for any reports from neighboring suburbs to arrive.

People who observed the SUV called in to say it was speeding, as running red lights and cutting past pedestrian crossings. One sighting showed the Urus within a shopping center parking lot, when it simply cruised in and out. Many others shared images on local stolen car groups showing the identical black body and a personalized plate reading RESIMX, which occurred to belong to Ozzie Kheir, a property developer and horse breeder.

However, social media provided another hint when a bunch of videos appeared online that appeared to be taken by the driver himself. On one of them, the camera was simply panning around the interior of the Urus as it rolled down the road. The same individual had previously recorded various high-end cars, including Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Range Rover, implying that the teen behind the wheel was no stranger to spending time in vehicles worth $100,000 or more.

Cops quickly picked up the trail but didn’t want to get too aggressive, in fact, they ruled out chases following reports of the SUV weaving near people and other traffic. Instead, they sent a helicopter to follow the automobile from above until it reached Glen Waverley, allowing them to keep an eye on it without increasing the danger on the ground. The Urus merely continued moving through Keilor Park, back into the city, and out again, always staying just ahead of any direct contact.

From the quiet break in just before daylight to the middle of the afternoon, the Lamborghini had covered a plethora of suburbs in all directions. Witnesses began phoning in with new places, and they all described the same pattern: high speed, rapid lane changes, and no signs of slowing. The driver, eventually identified as a 16-year-old Croydon resident, remained at the wheel the entire time. Three other kids who had assisted with the break-in had hung back out of sight.

Everything changed around 4:35 p.m. on Myers Avenue in Glen Waverley. The SUV exited the shopping center, turned a corner, and then lost grip, sliding right into the fence of someone’s home. I took a pretty obvious hit on the front end and left side, and the airbags inside popped on impact. Fortunately, no one inside or outside reported any injuries, and everything came to an end quickly.
