Tesla Model S Plaid vs Camera Drone Drag Race
Capturing aerial footage of an F1 race requires a special kind of drone, one that can achieve speeds in excess of 200mph. One of these drones was pit against a Tesla Model S Plaid in an unusual drag race by CarWow’s Mat Watson.

We know the Tesla Model S Plaid boasts a tri-motor setup making 1,006 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 60 mph in 1.99 seconds, but what about the drone? Well, the camera drone weighs in at just 2.2-pounds and has a whopping 5 hp, but is most certainly quick enough to hang with most cars.
