First up, the Bentley Continental GT Speed Le Mans Edition is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0L W12 engine making 660 hp and 663 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Next, the 1,995-pound Bentley Speed 8 race car draws power from a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine generating 600 hp, and while that might sound underpowered, remember that it’s much lighter than the Continental GT. How much lighter? Well, the Continental GT tips the scales at 5,011 pounds, so it may need 900+ hp to even come close to the Speed 8.
