John Staluppi has named every yacht he has owned after a James Bond film since childhood. His nineteenth will carry the shortest title yet. Project Bond measures 82 meters, or 269 feet, and will become both his largest boat and the biggest yacht Bilgin Yachts has built. Sold in March 2026 at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, the project is already well into steel and aluminum construction at the Turkish yard, with delivery expected in 2029.

Bilgin flexed its muscles and used its tried-and-true 80-meter 263 platform to create this stunning flagship. This has allowed for an increase in volumes to a respectable 2,150 gross tonnage, an extension of the beam to 13 meters, and a nice and shallow draft of 3.6 meters, excellent for cruising to the Americas harbors that Staluppi so adores. The pair of MTU 16V 4000 M73 engines work admirably, with a top speed of 17.5 knots, a cruise speed of 15 knots, and a range of 5,000 nautical miles. Emrecan Özgün leads Yacht Design, which is in charge of the yacht’s nautical architecture and stylish exterior lines. H2 Yacht Design, led by Jonny Horsfield, was in charge of the interiors and ensuring that the external decks flowed seamlessly.

Jeanette Staluppi has gotten to know Horsfield quite well in terms of layout, ambiance, and how the rooms will function when the couple is out on the sea for weeks at a time. He began with the modern Art Deco interiors that the Staluppis had favored in two prior H2 buildings. He sought to design rooms that looked great and rich, yet were not immediately out of date.

In that vein, they used a variety of materials such as patterned and lavish marbles, richly-toned woods, lacquered surfaces, metallic and gold accents, as well as a palette of neutral colors with the occasional pop of deep navy and other blues, and glass fittings that extend from floor to ceiling to keep those sightlines unobstructed and the rooms nice and bright.

That main saloon really sets the tone for the entire approach. It’s a nice curved area with a cream-colored sofa, a big bar with views in all directions, and an open stairway leading directly down to the beach club, which Horsfield says truly sells the modern Art Deco vibe. John Staluppi has already decided to have a talk with the visitors at the owners’ deck bar.

The owner’s suite is on its own deck and features a king-size bed, a sofa and television combo, a mirrored ceiling that will twinkle in the right light, a wavy carpet under your feet, a walk-in wardrobe, a private office, and an en-suite bathroom decorated in gold, mirrors, and deep blues. Two VIP cabins, as well as some additional guest rooms, including a twin, use the same materials, but each has its own unique twist on things.

Down on the lower deck, there’s a whole cinema with six reclining sofas, a ribbon of lights across the ceiling, and all the blue finishes you could want for a long nite of flicks. To top it all off, there’s a full-beam beach club with a pool, a steam room, a gym, a glass elevator, and outdoor hot tubs for when you need to get some fresh air.
