Limited to just 40 units worldwide, the $550,000 USD Gemballa Marsien just might be the ultimate off-road Porsche 911 Turbo S. During everyday driving, the vehicle sits 4.72 inches off the ground, but activate off-road mode? The ground can be set as high as 9.84 inches, and just for comparison, the Porsche 911 Dakar can only go up to 7.5 inches.
Power comes from a RuF Automobile tuned twin-turbocharged 3.7-liter flat-six engine making 880 hp, mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Gemballa Marsien isn’t just a Porsche 911 Turbo S with a body kit, but rather features a custom-built chassis by KW Automotive. Other upgrades include a custom double wishbone suspension up front and a multi-link suspension at the rear tuned for off-road use.

Extremely proud of Marc for pulling this off! I saw him pitch this concept six years ago and could never have imagined he’d execute it at this level. I’ve been fortunate to both drive and shoot this car multiple times and what he has achieved is truly next level. Just as Tom mentioned, this is far beyond a normal ‘tuner car.’ Well done Marc!,” said one commenter.
