Pastry chef Amaury Guichon is known for his unique chocolate creations and his latest is no exception. He decided to create an edible version of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 EV, albeit quite a bit smaller than its real-life counterpart. First, a large rectangular piece of chocolate had to be cut before the Ioniq 6’s chassis could be carved out.
What you may notice is that he uses tools that resemble the ones artists use to shape clay, and for good reason. The front bumper, rear and spoiler, all had to be carefully carved out to the right proportions. Once the main body was complete, Guichon moved onto the paint, and before you ask, yes, these colors are all safe to eat. Now the trickiest part may have be the wheels, which required a lathe to cut out.
